      About the role:

      The role is responsible for the management and usage of TransUnion’s global OneTrust platform and other privacy-related tools. This involves coordination and support for multiple TransUnion regions to document their privacy data assets, automate risk assessment processes, and assist with cookie compliance management.

      What You'll Bring:

      Day to Day You’ll Be:

      • Supervising the rollout of TransUnion’s global data privacy tool (OneTrust). This will involve engaging with a range of stakeholders across several countries to capture information on data processing, generate assessments, and provide reporting.

      • Acting as a subject matter expert for the use and adoption of global privacy tools, ensuring that these are adequately administered and maintained.

      • Supporting with the administration of privacy data assets across the globe, ensuring common treatment and methodologies are used, subject to any material differences in global privacy regulation.

      • Ensuring the use of privacy data assets adheres to TU’s Privacy Framework, and relevant policies, standards, and controls.

      • Supporting with the automation of risk assessments relating to data privacy, including Privacy Impact Assessments, and Lawful Basis Assessments, and Transfer Impact Assessments.

      • Reporting on risks, issues, and performance to the Data Privacy Manager.

      Impact You'll Make:

      Essential Skills & Experience:

      • Experience with implementing and administering OneTrust for privacy management.

      • Understanding of data management and privacy risk concepts.

      • Knowledge and understanding of the GDPR, or a similar privacy regulation.

      • Ability to manage a network of power users based across several countries to facilitate the adoption of OneTrust.

      • Project management and planning disciplines.

      • Interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with a variety of technical and non-technical business stakeholders. Ability to articulate a business issue without resorting to technical language.

      • Organisation and time management, including working to deadlines with multiple deliverables.

      • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

      Desirable:

      • Relevant OneTrust certifications, such as for Assessment Automation, Data Mapping, and Cookie Consent

      • Experience in financial services or technology sectors

      • Experience of working in a global organisation

      • Privacy credentials (e.g. CIPP)

      Working Pattern

      This role is deemed remote which means you w on' t be based at one of our office s as your role will involve regula r business travel /field based , so you can be based further afield from our office locations but may still need to attend the office from time to time as required .
