- Develop innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges, underpinned by thorough technical analyses and adherence to all applicable codes and standards.
- Work with the engineering team to deliver design deliverables on time, within budget, and to specifications.
- Engage with clients for design and safety assurance, leading process improvement studies.
- Utilise specialist software such as Fluidflow, Bentley Hammer, and Pipenet for design accuracy.
- 10+ years’ engineering experience in the oil & gas sector
- Proficiency in surge modelling, hydraulic calculations, and thermal relief designs.
- Capability in P&ID development, technical writing, safety reviews, HAZOP, and HAZID functions.
- Bachelor's Degree in Process/Chemical Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer (CPEng) and RPEQ qualified.

UGL’s Fuels and Energy East business is seeking a motivated Senior Process Engineer to work across brownfield and asset maintenance projects for fuel terminals or petrochemical settings under our PEM&AM contract.
Reporting to the Lead Process Engineer you will contribute to engineering across various projects' phases from concept to execution. You will be instrumental in generating process designs, conducting surge and hydraulic modelling, and giving technical expertise in HAZOP and HAZID activities.
Our Melbourne Southbank office is the preferred location, will consider strong applicants in Brisbane.
