- Supervise process discipline work on projects.
- Provide technical direction, advice, and control of process work.
- Liaise with client discipline representatives to establish technical direction.
- Define scope, estimate, and control process engineering activities.
- Plan man-hour budgets, schedules, and staffing requirements.
- Coordinate process engineering design and drafting.
- Perform complex process design activities, including simulation.
- Coordinate with other discipline lead engineers on technical issues.
- Assist asset/client lead project engineers in defining process work and deliverables.
- Prepare and coordinate input to essential process documents.
- Strong technical and practical engineering skills, with a focus on quality and timeliness.
- Knowledge of fundamental process engineering requirements.
- Familiarity with local and international standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in process engineering software and MS Office.
- Experience in process engineering within similar industries and multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Expertise in process simulation packages like HYSYS or PRO 11.
- This position is based in California.
- Salary range: $133,850 - $196,838.
- Benefits include PTO, 401k, medical, vision, dental, etc.
- Required: Bachelor's or master's degree in chemical engineering or related field.
- Preferred: 8+ years' experience, petrochemical/refining experience, refinery/oil and gas experience, Saudi Aramco experience, Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status.
