Senior Process Engineer
The Senior Process Engineer will play a pivotal role in supporting the NV plants and the Vale, OR plant for our client who is a global leader in minerals logistics and manufacturing. This remote position based in the Northwest region, including Nevada, Utah, Northern California, or Denver, Colorado, will oversee process improvement initiatives and capital projects across multiple sites.

Responsibilities of the Senior Process Engineer:

• Plan and execute multiple capital projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project management best practices.
• Evaluate and implement productivity and cost improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing process yield, throughput, operating efficiencies, and cost savings.
• Monitor key productivity metrics to optimize plant operations and identify further improvement opportunities.
• Document project work and changes systematically to facilitate effective change management and share best practices across sites.
• Ensure seamless integration of new equipment installations within existing facilities and uphold mechanical integrity standards.
• Collaborate with site teams to assess process equipment and infrastructure, developing replacement timelines for capital budgeting purposes.
• Identify and address opportunities to enhance safety, environmental compliance, quality, and employee commitment.
• Assist in prioritizing improvement needs and support the implementation of improvement strategies.

Must-Have for the Senior Process Engineer:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management or process improvement within the process industry.
• Proven track record in a manufacturing environment with a focus on safety, reliability, and process improvement.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical documents and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to develop strategies to achieve organizational goals.
• Proficiency in MS Suite and MS Project.
• Familiarity with spreadsheet and word processing software, process simulation software, project management software, and other relevant tools.
• Compliance with statutory, regulatory, and organizational procedures related to safety and environmental protection.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in metals/non-metals mining, industrial minerals processing, or continuous process manufacturing involving dry powders.
• Familiarity with process modeling and instrumentation systems/programs.

Additional Information:

• Location: Remote position based in Northwest region (Nevada, Utah, Northern California, or Denver, Colorado).
• Travel Requirement: 25% - 50%.
• Compensation: Competitive salary with a 20% bonus opportunity.
