What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to effectively procure supplies, materials, and services for ministry programs
- Negotiate and establish contractual relationships with service providers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions
- Lead initiatives for cost reduction, supplier consolidation, and service delivery improvements
- Analyze ministry strategies to create tailored contractual agreements that mitigate risk and ensure value
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues to maintain quality standards and delivery schedules
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in procurement or a related field
- Proven ability to lead complex contract negotiations and draft legally sound agreements
- Demonstrated success in sourcing and managing professional services across multiple industries
- Skilled in cultivating strategic supplier partnerships and implementing compliance initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in the nonprofit sector or child advocacy organizations
- Advanced certifications in procurement or supply chain management
- Familiarity with Supplier Relationship Management principles
- Strong analytical skills for evaluating supplier performance and contract compliance
- Ability to travel up to 10% of normal schedule
