      Lead in developing and managing customer relationships across all Western Canadian oil producing regions. Identify and implement upon crude oil optimization opportunities within the scope of Tidal Canada’s upstream marketing business.

      What You Will Do:

      • Generate and negotiate commercial term for new producer purchase contracts.

      • Lead the planning, operation, logistics and profit calculation of Tidal single shipper facilities.

      • Primary or backup point of contact for producer customers.

      • Support the settlement function to ensure customers are paid accurately and on time.

      • Generate alternatives, evaluate and implement netback solutions for upstream oil deliveries.

      • Coordinate day to day transactional requirements which involves liaising with groups within Tidal such as Corporate Risk, Credit, Accounting, Legal to ensure accurate capture.

      • Have a strong understanding of crude oil markets, and infrastructure in Western Canada.

      • Liaise with trading, scheduling groups to strategize in advance of production month and to manage positions within the production month.

      Who You Are:

      Required:

      • University Degree in engineering, economics, commerce or related field; a Post-Graduate Degree in engineering, economics, or commerce is considered as an asset.

      • Minimum 7+ years of directly related experience in business development or the upstream oil wellhead purchasing business.

      • Strong understanding of the crude oil markets across the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin.

      • Strong understanding of liquids pipeline systems and terminals business, approval mechanisms and business development processes.

      • Strong interpersonal skills which are required to deal with the coordination of internal groups, collaborate with senior members of customers and Enbridge Senior Management.

      • Have developed strategic relationships with producers, facility operators, pipelines and transportation providers.

      • Ability to build, develop and maintain strong customer relationships with internal cross functional resources and existing or new customers.

      • Ability to influence others coupled with outstanding negotiation capabilities.

      • Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities in a sophisticated and dynamic environment.

      • Strong analytical, financial and business insight.

      • Ability to work effectively with senior representatives (Senior Vice President, Vice President and Directors – internal and externally).
