NVIDIA is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the development of NVIDIA Aerial SDK. Aerial is an application framework for building high-performance, software-defined, GPU-accelerated, cloud-native 5G networks to deliver high performance to customers and improved total cost of ownership to service providers. Aerial supports GPU acceleration of the 5G stack and can be used for only physical layer 1 or the full stack. Aerial is the key building block for Telco 5G vRAN, AI-on-5G, RAN-in-the-Cloud, Aerial Research Cloud and Aerial Sim. As an Aerial Product Manager, you will lead the development and commercialization of new, groundbreaking platforms supporting our software-defined 5G initiative.

This is a multifaceted, emerging business at NVIDIA, and we are seeking someone who understands this business vertical and will be able to move and adapt quickly to changing needs, lead multiple initiatives, takes ownership of defining the products, drives multiple teams to develop products and take it to the market with the help of DevRel teams. What you will be doing:

• Lead the entire product lifecycle for Aerial SDK from vision to strategy to development and launch

• Identify and prioritize the most critical activities required for the product’s success, and ensure that they are executed

• Collect, process, and communicate voice of customer to advise future direction of NVIDIA’s Aerial platform

• Provide innovative technical solutions to address RAN market needs, working closely with SW and HW engineering and solution architecture team

• Drive engineering and product management in the development of the end-to-end full-stack solutions

• Engage with key opinion leaders and coordinate market research to evaluate next-generation technology adoption and trends for 5G and beyond 5G networks

• Create consensus for the product vision across the organization by building product roadmaps that span multiple engineering teams across NVIDIA

• Navigate through a matrix organization and deliver results in a fast-paced environment

• Closely collaborate with engineering leaders in developing product vision, strategy, architecture, roadmap, and go-to-market plans

• Own and lead the roadmap for product releases and public demonstrations in coordination with overall corporate strategy, given strict timelines and limited resources

• Engage with lighthouse customers proactively and communicate product development timelines and absorb their feedback into our development cycle

• Define metrics of success and key performance indicators that can be measured and improved. Use those metrics to clearly communicate progress across the organization

• Support sales and marketing activities, including crafting presentations, blogs, demos, and other technical collateral for our offerings

What we need to see:

• BS/MS or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or another technical field

• 8+ years of product management experience in wireless communications industry like 5G/6G RAN solution and system engineering, covering end-to-end systems in both hardware and software

• 7+ years of product management experience in 5G vRAN and Telco-Cloud technologies like 3GPP, O-RAN, vRAN, Open RAN, etc.

• Experience building baseband unit for LTE/5G NR eNB/gNB software and system

• Deep customer insights and business perspective on RAN, spanning researchers, developers, platform integrators, network equipment vendors to telecom operators

• Proven experience in key opinion leader development

• Strong analytical, marketing and project management skills - a drive for results and a history of successful execution on projects

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities

• Develop business relationships from scratch, both internally and externally to NVIDIA

• Ability to translate individual customer needs into higher level platform requirements that can enable a wide range of customers

• Deep technical knowledge in telecommunications architectures and cloud-native networks

• Proven track record of product ownership from concept to broad launch

• Strong technical background leading innovative new platform development

• Experience with NVIDIA products, AERIAL and NVIDIA SDKs

The base salary range is $156,000 - $310,500.
