- Develop a compelling product vision and strategy for our AI-enabled digital products, focused on driving positive customer experiences and business outcomes
- Ensure innovation is at the forefront of the product evolution by leading and encouraging the development of new ideas
- Establish a product roadmap and goals linked to enterprise priorities
- Evaluate and prioritize feature enhancements and product backlog while balancing the needs of customers, internal stakeholders, and partners
- Acquire feedback to develop a comprehensive strategy on products; Use important metrics, analytics, and customer feedback to iterate and drive improvements in future releases and to monitor product health
- Proactively communicate risks, dependencies and product roadmap changes to leadership, team members and key stakeholders
- Partner with engineers to identify technical solutions, assess technical tradeoffs and deliver product features/capabilities
- Maintain pulse on external trends, competitive intelligence, and emerging technology to evolve and further innovate our products
- Experience as a Product Manager with a broad portfolio of technically complex initiatives
- Accountability for the end-to-end experience, immersed in the customer experience and performance metrics
- Great team player who is naturally curious about how thing work, flexible, and comfortable with ambiguity
- Consistently seeks feedback from a diverse group of colleagues and partners, demonstrating clear actions taken to respond
- Strive to develop collaborative and constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners, ensuring you’re bringing others along with you in the journey
- Ability to display empathy towards a diverse set of users, striving to walk in their shoes
- Ability to articulate a strong point of view that is backed by knowledge of the industry and customer needs

Amex Digital Labs is responsible for catalyzing digital innovation at American Express by originating, incubating, and managing emerging products and platforms that can be essential to our customers’ digital lives. We strive to emphasize creativity, customer centricity, and innovation. Focus areas include crafting industry-leading digital payment solutions, using our outstanding servicing network and lifestyle assets to build digital experiences, and defining new products and services based on emerging technologies and trends.
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the launch and evolution of our digital initiatives, with an emphasis on Artificial Intelligence and its application to multiple business areas. While specific AI experience is not essential, the person in this role is expected to be very comfortable with emerging technology and data, with a desire to be hands-on and work side-by-side with engineering and decision science teams. You will have experience delivering technically complex products, from concept development to live production launch.
