      A Day in the Life

      Medtronic is hiring a Senior Product Specialist responsible for managing major and moderately complex projects, involving delegation of work and review of work projects , at times acting as a team leader, eventually acting as a mentor to colleagues while directing the work of further lower-level professionals by delivering and overseeing the projects from design to implementation.

      In the role, you are a recognized expert who manages large projects and processes, exercises considerable latitude in determining deliverables of assignments, represents the organization as a primary contact for specific projects and initiatives. You communicate with internal and external customers and vendors at various levels, negotiate with others to reach understanding or agreement, and influence decision-making.

      Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

      • Responsible and accountable for Device Manager Solutions product marketing strategy, which includes managing the product within its lifecycle, defining the portfolio positioning, multichannel communication plan and ongoing software upgrade communications.
      • Influence global product management to successfully implement system enhancements based on European customer and field feedback.
      • Facilitate and coordinate marketing strategies and tactics to increase teamwork and build partnerships across Region.
      • Successfully develop and implement product marketing tactics in partnership with cross Business Marketing partners and countries to launch and advance a CRM broad system-sell approach.
      • Act as the champion for Medtronic Device Manager Solutions, working individually or with a team in recommending action, scheduling and planning projects, estimating cost and managing projects to completion
      • Champion and liaise with external stakeholders including key opinion leaders to increase advocacy and adoption.
      • Coordinate congress activities, website development, market research and tracking of marketing campaigns to evaluate results and provide recommendations for future marketing promotions.

      Required knowledge and experience

      • Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree
      • 4+ years of experience in the medical device industry, T&E or marketing experience is a plus.
      • Fluency in English, with fluency in further European languages considered as an asset
      • Experience in the Apple (iOS) domain
      • Good presentation and interpersonal skills with excellent communication skills with experience of engaging broad audience personas. Ability to “read the audience” and tailor approach based on different stakeholder needs and other characteristics
      • Willingness to travel 20-30% of the time.
      • Successful project management experience, familiarity with Cardiac Rhythm Management products and services. Technical expertise in the CRM space is a plus
