      JOB TITLE: Senior Product Manager - Loans, Consumer Lending

      LOCATION: Chester, Manchester or London

      HOURS: Full time

      WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in an office site

      About this opportunity

      As Senior Product Manager, you’ll lead a team of 4 or 5 Product Managers to effectively manage the Unsecured Personal Loans portfolio of 1.3m customers.

      The role includes active risk management and implementing changes to improve our control environment and ensuring we are monitoring and delivering the right outcomes for customers.

      You will lead the decisions on treatments for customers in financial difficulty and when we don’t get it right for customers first time.

      There’s also lots of opportunity for thought leadership to contribute to and influence our product strategy and future operating model.

      What you’ll need

      • Customer first approach and experience in product management

      • Is data driven and uses evidence-based decision-making to explain 'why'

      • Is curious, with an appetite for learning new skills & agile capabilities

      • Develops the team using the 4Cs (Clarity, Challenge, Coach & Care) to drive personal growth as well as move the business forward

      And any experience of these would be really useful

      • Have great interpersonal skills, the ability to explain complex technical matters to a non-technical audience, the ability to build good working relationships, logical & creative thinking skills and being able to articulate the benefits or the work we do.

      • You'll bring passion, a can-do attitude and an open mind to help us develop new ways of doing things, whilst developing your own skills and experience.

      • As a member of the leadership team, can role model the LBG Values & Leadership behaviours with a growth mindset

      • Understand the Consumer Lending market and the risks and opportunities they present
