      This Opportunity

      WSP is seeking a Senior Professional, Financial Planning and Analysis to join our team. Provides professional financial planning and analysis support to financial executive management and business line executives. This person will work with various departments including corporate and operational functions to develop and roll up an annual budget and quarterly forecasting plans. This includes budgeting income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow, DSO , DPO, Capex and many more. Assist in creating presentations and reports to the WSP headquarters in Canada. The Financial Analyst will utilize financial data in order to make informed decisions and will compile, analyze, and disseminate financial reports as needed.

      Your Impact

      • Assist in creating the annual budget for corporate areas. Consolidating corporate area and Operational business line annual budget and quarterly forecast. Entering the data into headquarters HFM system. This includes budgeting and forecasting income statement, depreciation/amortizations, tax, balance sheet, and capital expense, cash flow, DSO, DPO etc.
      • Create and distribute weekly financial proforma depicting current performance along with forecasting end of month financial KPI’s.
      • Month end close duties including but not limited to, reviewing financial statements before close to identify variances and inaccuracy. Providing the accounting team with journal entries for various reclassifications and allocations. Creating corporate financial statements to the key stakeholders showing monthly and year to date performance.
      • Automate and compile and analyze financial reports.
      • Forecast models for revenue changes and expenditure increases/decreases
      • Partner with the Financial Regional Leads and Finance Executives to support and provide ad hoc reporting and analysis.

      Who You Are

      Required Qualifications

      • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
      • 5+ years of operational finance/accounting experience in a dynamic/changing organization.
      • Knowledge / experience on Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP).
      • Knowledge / experience with forecasting balance sheet, cash flow, DSO.
      • Strong analytical and data mining skills including a solid knowledge of key financial metrics critical to a financial role.
      • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, follow instruction, work independently, and comply with company policies.
      • Proficiency with MS Excel, pivot tables, formulas, data format/sort/filter, VLOOKUP, predictive models, and tools.
      • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills required to apply learned subject matter and technical knowledge to reach conclusions from data collation, documentation, and analysis.
      • Must be self motivated, show initiative and be goal and team oriented.
      • Needs to have effective and proven interpersonal skills.
      • Organized and have the ability to manage details.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
      • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Experience in Oracle Fusion and Hyperion Planning is highly desired.
      • Experience in SQL Server and Datamining is highly desired.
      • Experience in developing dashboards in PowerBI is highly desired.

      Compensation:
      Expected Salary (all locations): $74,200.00 - $129,800.00
      WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
