      The Senior Program Delivery Professional strategically identifies, develops, and implements programs that influence providers, members or market leadership towards value-based relationships and/or improved quality metrics. The Senior Program Delivery Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. It is critical to ensure standardization of processes and documentation is followed across all business partners.

      This position is a part of a broader team with diverse capabilities to support Process Consultation & Improvement, Project Management and Strategic Consultation & Planning. The candidate will work in a team-based culture environment with an ability to adjust plans driven by regulatory or other external factors, internal factors, and/or strategic-level change.

      The HQRI Senior Program Delivery Professional analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements. Work assignments involve documentation, design, and implementation of both existing and new processes spanning Stars/Quality, Risk Adjustment, Provider Programs, Interoperability.

      · Partners with key business partners to identify, plan and implement process standards, documentation and apply best practices.

      · Collects and analyzes process data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on the customer experience, compliance adherence, and efficiency.

      · Initiate and implements business process improvement initiatives.

      · Ensure standardization of processes and process documentation across key business areas for both existing and new processes.

      · Collaborate cross-functionally on continuous improvement initiatives to drive business results.

      · Critical to support change management factors with any process improvements/changes

      · Ensures processes meet compliance standards and requirements.

      Required Qualifications

      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
      • 5+ years of technical experience (demonstrated experience with process improvement, process design and implementation to include process mapping and development of procedural level documentation)
      • Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
      • Strong analytic skills and ability to use data to drive improvement activities
      • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to collaborate with multiple departments
      • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field
      • PMP certification a plus
      • Knowledge and experience in health care environment/managed care
      • Strong analytical skills
      • Medicare Risk Adjustment and/or Stars experience
      • Six Sigma or Lean certification
      • Experience authoring high-level, mid- level, and click- level end-user content, such as policies, procedures, processes, and reference material
      • Familiar with Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA) and/or information mapping authoring styles
      • Project Management certification or experience leading large scale initiatives

      Additional Information

      To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria:

      • At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.
      • Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.
      • Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
      • Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
      • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

      Pay Range

      The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


      $84,600 - $116,300 per year


      This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
