Job Description

- To take an independent leading role within PP at both the account and project level
- To provide consultancy on design and education for event and/or digital and/or print/text-based projects
- To ensure consistency and quality of client deliverables
- To support and provide guidance to junior team members on project-related tasks
- To foster strong and enduring collaborations with other departments/external freelancers to complete projects on time, within budget, and with the required quality
- To liaise with and build relationships with external clients, KOLs, and other stakeholders, as required
- Responsible for finance trackers and finance reporting
- To champion and follow best practice industry guidelines in the performance of the tasks
- To monitor how their own and team’s time is spent to help the company build knowledge and drive efficiency

- 5–7 years’ relevant work experience (agency or industry)
- Higher education degree preferably communication sciences, a modern language, or marketing degree
- Experience in running publication/medical education plans
- Strong client management skills
- Experience in leading matrix teams
- Demonstrable strategic consultancy ability
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Strong, confident communication skills
- High level of expertise in successful design and delivery of event and/or digital and/or print/text-based educational projects
- High level of attention to detail
- Proficient user of various MS Office programs and Internet
- Leadership role on PP account or accounts
- Leading role in client accounts and/or projects, performed in a largely independent manner
- Champion staffing needs/mix to PD
- Ensure consistency and quality for all team deliverables to the client
- Build strong professional relationships with all layers of customers in the client organization
- Build strong professional relationships with KOLs and professional organizations in the therapy area
- Effectively delegate tasks to APMs/PMs/AMPMs/MPMs as appropriate
- Deliver consistently high-quality event and/or digital and/or print/text-based educational projects
- Ensure appropriate tools are being used (team meetings, priority meetings, kick-off meetings) to track progress of projects
- Gain a solid understanding of internal and external financial processes
- Proactively identify potential internal pitfalls/timing conflicts and work with team to avoid them
- Provide strategic advice to client on project and account basis
- Interact professionally with clients, authors and presenters (KOLs), and other contributors, demonstrating understanding of the deliverables and of external parties’ requirements
- Build professional relationships with both customers and appropriate KOLs
- Manage client expectations with firm but professional timelines/prioritization
- Drive upside conversion of account by providing high-level client strategic support
- Identify opportunities for new business development with existing clients, either with new budget holders or via innovative products
- Ensure accurate financial planning/revenue gating internally and externally for plan
- Maintain knowledge of, and communication with client on, all financial/invoicing aspects of account plan
- Proactively communicate potential financial issues to management
- Keep up to date with industry guidelines for health-care compliance practices
- Help educate external parties on industry standards when required
- Take a leading role in internal proposal/pitch brainstorming and development
- Be part of pitch teams by taking ownership of the development and presenting of a portion of the presentation
- Provide a stimulating learning environment of on-the-job training for APMs and PMs
- Become a knowledge and experience resource for more junior staff across the entire department
- Work with PD to implement career growth goals for APMs/PMs
