      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Manage Medicare and Medicaid cost report submissions and conduct related desk reviews and audit activities for assigned hospitals
      - Provide independent hospital reimbursement consulting services to corporate business offices, regional finance, and hospital executives
      - Oversee and develop reimbursement strategies for Medicare alternate payment methodologies, focusing on bundled payments
      - Coordinate reimbursement activities related to quality-based payment methodologies
      - Participate in the development and maintenance of Medicaid supplemental payment programs for assigned facilities

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in Medicare cost reporting and related concepts
      - Comprehensive knowledge of Medicare prospective payment systems including Inpatient Acute DRGs and Outpatient APCs
      - In-depth understanding of Medicare statutes, regulations, and administrative rules
      - Familiarity with Medicaid supplemental payment concepts and state-directed payments
      - Intermediate-to-Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Excel and proficiency in HFS cost report software

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with reimbursement consulting in a healthcare setting
      - Familiarity with Mckesson G/L and Siemens Invision systems
      - Knowledge of Graduate Medicare Education (GME) and Indirect Medical Education (IME) reimbursement concepts
      - Understanding of quality-based Medicare reimbursement concepts, such as Value-Based Purchasing
