      We are looking for a Senior Value Stream Leader to lead the Air Combat Test & Training Portfolio Product and Production efforts within the Collins Simulation and Training business. This role will likely be onsite in Cedar Rapids co-located with the program execution teams or in Largo, FL to be co-located with the operations team. In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate with Program Management, Operations, and Engineering to ensure seamless support and alignment, playing a critical part in our mission to exceed customer expectations and uphold the organization's core values. This Senior Value Stream Leader role is responsible for the achievement of strategic goals with respect to product developments, cost reduction initiatives, and investment decisions.

      What You Will Do

      • Drives internal development on ACTT programs to create the next generation technology projects to support all customers, overseeing efforts to generate new IP and protect existing IP

      • Accountable for the full lifecycle of ACTT products from inception through completion and renewal in support of long-term strategic business plans

      • Develops and maintains the ACTT technology roadmap and strategies to ensure that long-term goals are achieved. Collaborate with peers to develop and communicate strategic direction, and initiatives supporting the ACTT business

      • Interface between full-rate production teams and development efforts occurring on customer contracts

      • Provide program execution expertise leading the Program Management Team through the life cycle tenets of the RTX Lifecycle Program Management framework

      • Drives CORE continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality

      • Actively involved with Strategic Financial Planning and Annual Operating Plan processes for ACTT; prepares and presents product line & production strategy, progress, and results

      • Hold Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Control Account Manager (CAMs) accountable for execution of tasks, including identification of recovery plans as needed

      • Conduct internal reviews (e.g. Gate Reviews, PMRs) in accordance with internal policies and procedures

      • Establish and maintain a robust risk and opportunity management program, identifying risks and opportunities, developing mitigations and recommendations to achieve schedule, cost, and performance goals

      • Responsible for program execution, ensuring adherence to program plans, schedules, budgets, and technical performance for complex development and production programs and efforts

      • Drive accountability for the day-to-day leadership over the local and remote matrix employees cross-functional integrated product teams (IPTs)

      • Individual travel varies but may reach or exceed 25% on occasion

      Qualifications You Must Have

      • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience

      • Previous Value Stream Lead, Program or Project Management experience required

      Qualifications We Prefer

      • Technical background, degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and relevant work experience in technical roles

      • 10 years minimum experience working with cross functional teams in Program Management or a relevant discipline (such as Project Management, Supply Chain Ownership, Manufacturing/Operations, Material Program Management, Cost Account Manager or Integrated Product Team Lead)

      • Experience with Datalinks, Cross Domain Solutions, Cryptography Units, RF technology

      • Familiarity with new product introduction and transition to manufacturing

      • A proven track record of implementing Lean manufacturing/Six Sigma/ACE/CORE concepts

      • Able to effectively create and share a vision across a broad IPT through excellent communication (both written and verbal)

      • Current/Active DOD Top Secret or TS/SCI Security Clearance preferred

      • Experience engaging and reporting at the executive stakeholder level

      • Experience managing the manufacturing life cycle utilizing CMS/RLPM processes

      • Robust working knowledge of SAP and MS Project

      The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
