Ensures processes are adhered to by the engineering execution team and liaises with program management and other IPT leads to assure technical goals are achieved
Responsible for capturing lessons learned
Take ownership of technical project execution through Design & Development activities into Production
Present project status to multiple levels of Leadership
Work as part of a cohesive team with test engineering, product engineering, system engineering, program management and Operations
Maintain and oversee Earned Value Management as a Cost Account Manager
Breakdown Work Package and tasking for execution
Outstanding communication skills, especially cross-discipline
Exhibit a positive attitude and great mentoring/delegating skills
Strong interpersonal skills and skills facilitating working in a team environment
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience

Collins Aerospace in Fairfield, CA, is seeking a Senior Project Engineer responsible for managing and maintenance of the program budget and schedule, as well as intensive coordination across stakeholders to meet the objectives of the program. The Project Engineer will be involved in all phases of the product life, including proposal preparation, brainstorming sessions, supplier support, manufacturing support, and other sustaining activities.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
