      Job summary

      United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) is going through an exciting period of change and development to support the delivery of our vision and strategic objectives. The Digital Services department is looking to further strengthen the transformation team in response to upcoming programmes. We will also be working closely with our partner organisations, managing and delivering change in a way that engages our staff, patients and key stakeholders.

      The successful candidate will be supported through appraisal, meaningful objective setting and personal development to flourish within this role and provide the necessary impact to deliver on a challenging agenda.

      The successful post holder will need to work with internal Trust delivery teams as well as third party suppliers and partners whilst representing Digital Services. The position will be required to manage all aspects of project governance using PRINCE2 methodology.

      The successful candidates should be highly motivated, possess a current professional qualification (eg, PRINCE2), relevant experience and evidence of delivering IT infrastructure projects plus experience as per the Person Specification. Good organisation and communication skills are essential. The candidate must be willing and able to travel between all Trust sites.

      The post holder will report to the Digital Transformation Programme Manager at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust.

      Main duties of the job

      Following the expansion of the portfolio and introduction of two new programmes there is an opportunity for a Senior Project Manager within the Transformation team. The opportunities will see you play a pivotal role in supporting the Trust achieve our Improvement aims.

      This is a key leadership role within the Delivery team. Key responsibilities include:

      • Ensuring delivery of critical initiatives within Digital Services portfolio plan, within agreed timeframes, maximising benefits realisation, whilst facilitating and promoting engagement across all staff groups and patients where necessary.
      • Day to day management of the project delivery teams across a range of projects and functions at pace.
      • Support the realisation of our Digital Strategy and in-year projects.
      • Play an active role across the delivery team senior leadership in further develop our approach to Improving the digital landscape across the Trust.

      Digital Transformation is a key part of ULHT as a Trust, particularly as it aspires to become a University Hospital Teaching Trust. Our People and Digital Transformation team has a clear strategic direction, and is now looking for a Senior Project Manager to help us deliver that agenda.
