      YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

      R eporting to the Senior Manager , Program Delivery , the Senior Project Manager is accountable for the delivery of projects within the agreed timelines, scope, cost, and quality criteria. Provides project management advice and support to projects. Provides mentorship for intermediate and junior project managers reporting to them . The time commitment of this role is split between active project management and small team leadership and mentorship . KSPC operates in a Project / Process Hybrid model where the Project Manager has direct accountability for project delivery.

      The Senior P roject Manager is capable of managing complex brownfield projects requiring alignment with the Operations group for tie in and outa ge coordination.

      The Senior Project Manager will have relevant experience ide ntifying best project execution models, understanding the project organizational structure required to support this model from an Owners perspective , and be able to build and lead this team accordingly.

      The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for projects that play a role in expanding the capacity of the Bethune Mine Site, playing a critical r ole in the organization's future growth. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

      Project Integration & Stakeholder Management - 20%:

      • Lead the integration of activities and inputs from project stakeholders (incl. all support functions drawn upon to execute projects, e.g., Procurement, Supply Chain and Warehousing Mgmt.) to safely develop and deliver a project’s scope of work in accordance with an approved statement of requirements

      • Lead multi-discipline project(s) in alignment with KSPC stage gate process , scaled according to complexity, cost and risk

      • Complete project planning requirements with involvement from all relevant stakeholders

      • Develop pre-commissioning, commissioning and handover plans in conjunction with relevant stakeholders

      • Deliver project execution activities successfully, on schedule, on budget and to high quality

      • Ensure change management and project activities are carried out as required by KSPC standards, policies and directives including HSSEQ requirements

      • Consolidate the project or study plan, schedule and cost control reporting, extract insights and make relevant adjustments to the project

      • Identify key project execution strategies that will enable delivery success

      Project Risk Coordination - 15%:

      • Organize and participate in project Risk Assessments

      • Prepare, monitor and report on project risks, mitigation and closeout actions (risk treatment plan) ; follow up with risk owners and maintain risk register

      • Work with the Cost Control function and estimating to align the project contingency budget with the risks that are identified.

      • Liaise with contractors/consultants to incorporate risks in project planning and project closeout

      • Similarly to the above, identification of opportunities for the project should be manage d accordingly.

      Vendor and Contractor Management - 15%:

      • Oversee and coordinate work with engineering & execution consultants, design partners and other contractors , in collaboration with the relevant internal to KSPC functional areas responsible for these activities

      • Oversee the administration of technical correspondence within the organization and with external parties ( e.g. engineering firms)

      • Oversee the enforcement of all mobilization and reporting requirements for vendors and contractors with regard to HSSEQ

      Change Order & Claims Management / Management of Change (MOC) - 15%:

      • Enact MOC procedures

      • Facilitate requests for information (RFI)

      Project Closeout - 10%:

      • Conduct project closeout activities in line with scope and operational requirements

      • Participate in relevant project effectiveness reviews, post project completion.

      Project Team Leadership - 25%:

      • Lead the project team responsible for multi-discipline project(s)

      • Develop and retain people with the right skills and capabilities to effectively execute projects

      • Provide mentorship for a group of intermediate / j unior project managers reporting to this role.

      • Work with direct reports to adopt and implement processes and procedures as they are developed by the Project Management Office (PMO) .

      • Participate in leading behavioral sprints with direct reports

      • Provide inputs of continuous improvement t o the PMO

      • Ensure effective allocation of resources applied to project execution team

      YOUR PROFILE

      • Minimum 1 5 years’ experience in a heavy industrial setting, potash experience preferred

      • Minimum 1 5 years’ experience project management experience on large multi-year projects

      • Bachelor’s degree, or 10 years project/trade/operations experience

      • Strong project management skills including demonstrated facilitation skills

      • Demonstrated project management experience required , experience with various project e xecution models, construction execution strategies.

      • A proven working knowledge of modern project execution risks and challenges with an ability to collaboratively define solutions

      • Experience in applying and adopting technology tools to increase efficiency in project management

      • PMP designation required

      • Strong understanding of project management methodologies , Project Management Institute (PMI) Principles as well as a working knowledge of Front End Loaded ( FEL) stage gate methodologies

      • Adept at leading organizational transformations through c hange m anagement

      • Possess strong business and financial acumen , experience in aligning project business case with organizational strategic direction

      • Demonstrated proficiency in fostering business-focused collaboration, aligning cross-functional teams and driving projects to successful completion

      • Established leadership abilities, including influencing the decision-making of internal and external stakeholders, and coaching, mentoring, and developing a team

      • Proficient in data-driven decision-making and business intelligence, leveraging analytical tools and methodologies to enable informed strategic decisions, optimize processes and drive continuous improvement

      • Proven ability to analytically solve problems with a creative approach , and accepting responsibility for outcomes
