The position

In this exciting opportunity, you will be driving and managing diverse projects spanning strategy, organizational development, process optimization, and executive decision support. You will be exposed to different organisational areas throughout Novo Nordisk, which include commercial, medical, product supply and support functions among others.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Driving projects, including the daily management of the project team.
• Acting as sparring partner on other initiatives, providing guidance and ensuring direction and quality.
• Playing an active role in the continuous development of the department, regardless of role or tenure.

Guided by our project tools and methodologies, you will build a strong international network and further develop your leadership skills, as well as your personal and technical skills.

Qualifications

You have at least 5 years of experience within strategy consulting and / or relevant project management within life sciences. A minimum of 2-3 years consulting experience is preferred. You possess strong leadership and interpersonal competencies, demonstrate analytical skills, and can effectively engage with various stakeholders.

Furthermore, you will bring:

• Solid interpersonal skills and motivation to drive change at all levels of the organisation.
• Wide experience working with consulting and financial frameworks and approaches.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly (both verbally and in writing).
• Ambitious mindset, challenge-seeking and result-oriented.
• A master’s degree in economics, business administration, engineering, natural sciences, or a related field, with excellent grades.

Experience from working in the pharmaceutical industry is highly regarded but not a prerequisite for this position.

As a key driver of Novo Nordisk’s future growth, International Operations (IO) is the largest operational unit in Novo Nordisk and covers more than 190 countries and 95% of the world’s population. Around 430 million people are living with diabetes in these countries and an estimated 570 million live with obesity. We serve 25 million people each day living with chronic diseases. Novo Nordisk International Operations, Strategic Operations, is head quartered in Zürich, Switzerland.

IO Consulting is the in-house management consultancy reporting directly to IO-SO Executive Office. We focus on combining best practices from top-tier strategy consultancies with the strengths of being an internal consultancy to drive a broad range of high-profile projects across the value chain and geographies.
