- Minimum of a Ph.D. in life sciences, with a preference for post-graduate degrees in life sciences or engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years of project and/or program management experience in biotech/pharmaceutical R&D.
- Strong project management skills, including familiarity with PMBOK and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with the technical integration of external technology platforms is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally.
- Natural leadership abilities with flexibility, agility, and a results-oriented approach.
- A "can-do" attitude with resilience and self-motivation to make a significant impact.
- Proficiency in managing diverse program activities, and affinity with planning software and visualization tools is a plus.

In line with Genmab's 2030 vision, we are in search of a Senior Project Manager for R&D Strategic Initiatives (RDSI). The R&D Strategic Initiatives team is at the forefront of enhancing, strengthening, and expanding Genmab's R&D engine. Here, technology innovation, AI, and digital technologies are central to our problem-solving approach. Join our dynamic team of Project Managers spanning the US, DK, and NL, with the position primarily located in NL, offering a flexible mix of 60% onsite and 40% remote work.
As a Senior Project Manager, your primary focus will be on Technology Innovation projects within the Discovery Technologies program (DiscoTECH). The goal of DiscoTECH is to ensure cutting-edge capabilities in wet lab and dry lab (in silico discovery), catalyzing Genmab's drug discovery initiatives. Your responsibilities encompass a range of expertise areas, including molecular and cell sciences, protein sciences, high-throughput, and high-content screening, as well as lab automation.
In this dynamic role, you will not only oversee these exciting technology innovation projects but also collaborate closely with experts from various Genmab Discovery departments in the Netherlands. Additionally, you will manage several research collaborations within the DiscoTECH program, contributing significantly to cross-functional best practices and connecting expertise teams across Genmab's locations (NL, DK, and US).
Reporting to the Team Lead of RDSI-Research, you will play a pivotal role in supporting research teams, facilitating communication, and optimizing processes. This includes coordinating team meetings and managing project information, budgets, contracts, and documentation. Your role will also involve providing overviews of deliverables and budget estimates, ensuring alignment of timelines, and connecting key stakeholders across various functions.
