What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee maintenance requests for approximately 125-175 stores, processing around 30,000 work orders annually
- Conduct regular onsite visits to stores, ensuring safety, comfort, and cleanliness
- Build partnerships with Store Directors and cross-functional teams to enhance operations
- Manage the Store Preservation budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities and processing invoices
- Analyze vendor performance metrics and support the management of contractor databases
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years in facilities management and 2 years of people management experience
- Strong customer service skills with effective communication abilities
- Proficiency in managing operational budgets and negotiating contracts with vendors
- Knowledge of safety regulations, including OSHA standards, and ability to enforce them
- Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems like ServiceChannel or Corrigo
- General knowledge of maintenance/construction trades and regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills to develop effective solutions quickly
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively in a retail environment
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
