- Manage team complexity u2013 plans, organizes, and supervises the work of a design staffu00A0 of up to 60 team members u00A0
- Responsible for accuracy and applicability of documents for entire project(s) u00A0
- Build and maintain day-to-day working relationship with client(s) and consultants u00A0
- Lead decision making process with fiscal accountability and responsibility u00A0
- Develop and execute a management work plan for the overall project(s) u00A0
- Assist with proposal preparation and participates in client presentations/interviews u00A0
- Responsible for all correspondence, reports, documentation, and general administration for the overall project(s) u00A0
- Responsible for execution of project within the boundaries of the design intent u00A0
- Apply sound and diversified knowledge of architectural principals for all aspects of the project(s) u00A0
- Make independent decisions on architectural problems and methods u00A0
- Solve problems creatively with consultants u00A0
- Negotiate and draft/write fee proposals and contracts u00A0
- Assist with business development and collaborate with other studios, as needed u00A0
- Develop and leverage existing client relationship for the purposes of wining work. u00A0
- Assist Practice Leaders in developing market or client campaigns and interview to win new work. u00A0
- 20+ years of professional experience in Architecture u00A0
- At least 10 years of experience as a Project Manager u00A0
- Experience with complex multi-phase healthcare projectsu00A0 u00A0
- Bachelor's degree; B Arch or M Arch desired u00A0
- Architectural licensure in California is required u00A0
- Must have OSHPD/HCAI experience from design through construction u00A0
- LEED Accreditationu00A0or within 18 months of hire u00A0
- Knowledge about LEAN practice and adept in change management u00A0
- Must have a proven track record as a Project Manager with complex projects involving work that ranges from Pre-design through Construction Administration, including contract negotiation, work plan development and the ability to work with a variety of project delivery methodologies u00A0
- Excellent leadership, verbal and communication skills, and effective client relationship skills and talent for leading and working with diverse teams of designers u00A0
- Knowledge of Revit and BIM delivery implications u00A0
- Working expertise in Bluebeam Revu and PowerPoint u00A0
- Ability to lead and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines u00A0
- Ability to work in a collaborative, design focused open environment u00A0
- Ability to travel as the project(s) requires u00A0
