What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and lead tasks associated with energy projects, including developing proposals and cost estimates
- Oversee energy facility siting/routing, permitting, environmental field surveys, and public outreach
- Prepare resource studies and permit applications for state utility boards
- Represent clients before regulatory agencies and make presentations in public meetings
- Coordinate effectively with team members while handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
What is Required (Qualifications):
- B.S. or M.S. in Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
- 15+ years of related consulting experience, including managing technical teams and project management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent writing skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record without restrictions
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with resources and regulatory agencies in Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, and/or Utah
- Ideal candidate located in Arizona with experience permitting projects at local and state levels
- Background in electrical transmission siting, routing, and permitting
