      Senior Prosecution Officer

      • Full-Time (35hpw) Permanent Opportunity, multiple roles available
      • Hybrid working. Parramatta location
      • Salary commencing from $120,859 + superannuation

      The Litigation team within Revenue NSW is expanding and an exciting opportunity has arisen for multiple Senior Prosecution Officers to join the team and help build our prosecution capability.

      These roles sit within the Litigation Team within Technical Advisory Services, Revenue NSW

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Build prosecution capability within a high performing litigation team, establishing best practice procedures and processes in prosecution
      • Provide litigation advice on matters to internal customers and stakeholders on State Taxation and Fines Legislation
      • Work in partnership with the Crown Solicitor’s Office on prosecution matters
      • Develop awareness and capability regarding prosecution matters across Revenue NSW operations areas

      To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

      • Highly developed oral and written communication skills including the ability to prepare and deliver accurate submissions and advice
      • Experience in administrative law and prosecutions and a capacity to distil and present complex legal issues
      • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to undertake objective analysis and provide recommendations based on that analysis
      • A proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners and stakeholders

      Salary Grade 9/10, with the base salary for this role starting at $120,859 base plus superannuation
