What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the execution of public relations strategies to generate earned media coverage across various outlets
- Manage and mentor the Public Relations Manager to ensure timely execution of campaigns
- Cultivate relationships with media contacts across travel, lifestyle, and business categories
- Develop and edit press materials, including releases and media kits, to support brand visibility
- Track and analyze PR coverage and metrics to optimize future efforts
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- 6–8 years of progressive experience in public relations, preferably in travel, tourism, or hospitality
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing direct reports or agency teams
- Demonstrated success in developing integrated PR strategies that drive media coverage
- Strong writing and editing skills with a relevant portfolio
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Established media relationships with reporters across lifestyle, travel, business, and broadcast verticals
- Experience managing influencer and creator collaborations, including content review and partnership measurement
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
