What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design and develop systems including operational requirements and infrastructure setup within an Agile framework
- Quickly learn new technologies and produce proof of concepts, particularly using AWS and Big Data
- Address high-priority production support issues, troubleshooting and providing timely solutions
- Develop processes to enhance operations, including code refactoring and performance tuning
- Analyze existing systems and create comprehensive technical documentation

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of solid hands-on software development experience, including system installation and production support
- Deep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, CloudFormation, etc.) with hands-on experience in architecting cloud solutions
- Strong experience in Python, React JS, Java, SQL, AWS Redshift, PostgreSQL with a focus on back-end and middle-tier development
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/ECS/EKS)
- Understanding of cloud security best practices, data protection, and compliance requirements

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- AWS Developer Certification is strongly preferred
- Experience with AWS EMR, AWS Glue, Spark/Scala, Airflow, Time series databases, Data Lakes, AWS Spectrum, and Elastic Search
- Prior experience in the financial industry or quantitative technical analysis
