      The Senior Quality Engineer carries out procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet organization standards and end-user requirements. The Senior Quality Engineer work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. They will play a critical role in driving automation initiatives within the organization. This role involves leading a team of automation engineers to design, develop, and implement automated solutions to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance productivity across various departments. They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, prioritize projects, and ensure successful execution of automation initiatives.

      The Senior Quality Engineer performs and leads tests of software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects.

      Key Responsibilities Include:

      Strategy Development: Develop and implement automation strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives. Identify areas where automation can bring significant value and develop a roadmap for implementation.

      Team Leadership: Lead a team of automation engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive innovation and ensure the successful delivery of automation projects. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

      Project Management: Plan, prioritize, and oversee the execution of automation projects from inception to completion. Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements. Monitor project progress and address any issues or risks that may arise.

      Technical Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of automation technologies, tools, and best practices. Stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in automation to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

      Automation Development: Directly contribute to the design, development, and implementation of automated solutions. Collaborate with team members to architect scalable and robust automation frameworks that meet the organization's needs.

      Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, finance, and quality assurance, to identify automation opportunities and define requirements. Build strong relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

      Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and reliability of automated solutions by implementing robust testing processes and conducting thorough validation and verification activities. Work closely with quality assurance teams to identify and address any issues or defects.

      Training and Development: Provide training and knowledge sharing sessions to empower team members with the skills and expertise needed to effectively develop and maintain automated solutions. Promote a culture of continuous learning and skill development.

      Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of automation processes, workflows, and configurations. Ensure that documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders for reference and troubleshooting purposes.

      Required Qualifications

      • Requires Bachelor's degree.

      • 5 or more years of technical experience including Selenium.

      • Strong technical expertise in automation technologies, scripting languages, test automation frameworks, etc.

      • Experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies is desirable.

      • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.

      • Performs and leads the automation effort to test software ensuring proper operation and freedom from defects.

      • Performs complex workflow analysis and recommends quality improvements.

      • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.

      Work-At-Home Requirements

      • WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.

      • A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.

      • Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.

      • A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
