Develop new QEC codes with AI and ML techniques.
Collaborate with QPU builders and accelerated computing experts to realize QEC simulations and experiments.
Discover high impact problems in FTQC NVIDIA can uniquely solve that create new market paradigms.
Partner with other NVIDIA Quantum teams and provide insights that will influence our quantum strategy.
Speak at relevant scientific, technical and industry conferences.
Masters Degree in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related engineering field or equivalent experience (Ph.D. preferred)
Extensive background in Quantum Information Science with expertise in one of the following: protocols for Quantum Error Correction, algorithms for FTQC, or similar domain.
5+ years research experience in Quantum Computing, High Performance Computing and related areas.
World-class communication skills with a demonstrated ability to articulate a value proposition to technical and non-technical audiences
Experience with GPU computing.
Hands-on experience in AI, applied machine learning, deep learning, scientific computing, or high-performance computing.
A track record of applying AI to a part of the quantum computing stack.

We are seeking experts in quantum error correction (QEC) and fault-tolerant quantum computing (FTQC) with a desire to scale current state-of-the-art methods with AI and ML. This is a great opportunity to contribute to our growing Applied Quantum Research Team and unlock a new era in QEC. The base salary range is 184,000 USD - 356,500 USD.
