Job Description

Essential Job Functions
- Understand the market trend and progress of the filtration related technology, to make proposal for China R&D technology and new products development roadmap by working with the marketing and sales team.
- Work with the marketing and sales team to attend VOC, to understand the User Requirement Specifications (URS) of the new product, to define value proposition, and work with the project team to convert the URS to design concept.
- Take the lead to do DFEMA to develop product prototype design, to generate the engineering drawings with specification, prepare technical documents. To support the design verification test plan and the verification execution.
- Responsible for the product design review, and to do the detailed product design after the design is finalized, and to support the validation plan, as well as validation execution .
- Take the lead to work with Operation team to finalize the PFEMA to improve the manufacturing reliabilities.
- Work with sourcing team to develop new parts vendors and execution PPAP.
- Work with the global R&D team for some specific NPD projects as needed.
- To be actively involved in DBS, and to use DBS tools to drive R&D excellence.
- To do technology training for other engineers when need.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or above in mechanical, polymer materials.
- At least 5 years of experience as a research and development design engineer, particularly in the field of plastic products.
- Proficient in mechanical design software, mold design software, and fluid simulation software, among others
- Be familiar with mechanical design process/ DOE/FEMA.
- Better to have basic knowledge of filtration and element design experience.
- Excellent English skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing.
- A high level of self-drive, with growth mindset to learn new knowledge.
- Great team spirit, strong cross collaboration ability.
