Job Description
- Req#: R5975
- Analyze Net Operating Income results and propose/post any necessary journal entries to ensure accuracy.
- Complete monthly and quarterly Prologis reporting related to Net Operating Income including but not limited to Same Store, A-2, and 2-4 reports.
- Coordinate monthly Real Estate Customer Experience manager meetings: including scheduling, creating an agenda and tracking follow-up items.
- Provide prompt support through the Help Desk to address and resolve questions from all internal departments.
- Analyze and communicate annual customer reconciliation results with the Real Estate Customer Experience managers as often as needed, including monthly recoverability estimates.
- Facilitate and attend Real Estate Customer Experience workshops aimed at ongoing education and process improvements impacting both accounting and Real Estate Customer Experience teams.
- Approach work with a problem-solving mindset, looking for opportunities to innovate and improve processes.
- Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership, following through on tasks and ensuring issues are fully resolved.
- Maintain a customer-first approach when supporting internal stakeholders and resolving inquiries.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 5+ years of experience, preferably with accounting experience at a large multi-entity company and / or public accounting experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Outlook, and Word) and reporting systems (PeopleSoft and Yardi Property Management experience preferred).
- Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills to manage both routine and complex accounting tasks
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization
- Meticulous attention to detail and a consistent track record of delivering accurate and timely financial information.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for reviewing and ensuring the accuracy of financial data.
- Customer-focused approach in supporting stakeholders and resolving helpdesk inquiries.
- Willingness to mentor and educate peers and junior team members.
- Curious and process-oriented, with a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement and learning.

A day in the life
Our Accounting team oversees the company’s financial well-being and supports operational and business planning in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. We are entrusted to properly account for and report the business activity at our large and growing company. As a Senior Real Estate Operations Accountant on our NOI/RECX facing team in our downtown Denver office, you will be responsible for providing detailed reviews of Net Operating Income (NOI) reports, participating in Real Estate Customer Experience (RECX) Manager meetings, supporting our help desk, conducting annual CAM reviews, partaking in educational workshops, performing Balance Sheet reviews, and communicating effectively with the RECX VPs. Your expertise will help maintain accurate financial records and compliance with applicable laws and regulations, contributing to our business's financial success.Key responsibilities include:

Hiring Salary Range of: $88,000 - $108,000 . Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target) to be determined by the candidate’s location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
