Job Description
- Req#: 7241
- Work with the hiring manager on the recruitment plan and strategy for open positions from individual contributor up to the VP level roles. Conduct needs assessment and intake session. Partner with HR Business partners as appropriate on requirements and needs assessments.
- Post and update job descriptions internally and on approved Job Boards, with professional organizations and in other position appropriate venues. Align language to strategically speak to a broad external audience.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment including searching, sourcing, pre-screening, interviewing, and presenting qualified candidates to the hiring managers. Use numerous methods to source candidates such as job board, social and professional networking sites. Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements and document the potential candidate’s specific preferences such as, availability, compensation requirements, location, etc. Document and track interactions with prospective candidates within the applicant tracking system. Coordinate interview times and locations with selected candidates.
- Partner with HRBP’s on internal offers and regarding internal equity. Then extend offers to candidates. Handle negotiation of counter offers. Reject candidates who were not selected for the position.
- Research and share external market data and insights to ensure open positions are market competitive.
- Attend college recruitment job fairs and develop relationships with colleges to source interns.
- Build a strong pipeline of potential candidates through networking, sourcing, applicant tracking system and internet resources. Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees.
- Conduct regular follow-up with submitted candidates to build rapport and source new candidate leads
- Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting. Assist with special projects such as providing guidance and making recommendations on ATS system and process improvements.
- Assists in branding in establishing a recognizable “employer of choice” reputation for Patelco Credit Union, both internally and externally.
- Lead Recruiting related projects on a regular basis
- Support agency relationships, including both contingent and retained search firms, to ensure effective collaboration and successful talent acquisition.
- May produce regular reports on hiring and sourcing effectiveness, time to fill, etc.
- Supports the Lead Recruiter in training.
- Leverages current technology to improve pipeline, candidate experience & quality, time to fill, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources management, business administration or related field.
- A minimum of 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with previous corporate recruitment required.
- Recruiting experience in the financial industry is a plus.
- Experience being a strategic and thoughtful partner to the business
- Previous experience utilizing the internet, databases, applicant tracking systems, search engines and social media to source active and passive candidates.
