- Plan, perform, and document experiments supporting multiple assay development initiatives.
- Collect and interpret experimental data using statistical methods to inform project strategies.
- Troubleshoot assay issues and collaborate with scientists and engineers across departments to drive solutions.
- Maintain clean, organized laboratory conditions and adhere to laboratory safety practices.
- Prepare and present findings to project teams through written and verbal communication.
- Assist in maintaining laboratory inventory, equipment calibration, and protocol documentation.
- Foster a team-oriented work culture centered on integrity, open communication, respect, and inclusion.
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific field (Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biology, or similar) with 3–5 years of laboratory experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of hands-on experience.
- Strong foundation in immunoassay development and optimization; protein assay experience preferred.
- Proficiency in operating laboratory instrumentation such as Luminex MagPix, Agilent Bioanalyzer, or comparable platforms.
- Knowledge of the scientific method and experimental design best practices (DOE principles).
- Prior experience working under regulated assay environments (e.g., FDA, CE-IVD, LDT) is a plus.
- Familiarity with cancer biology, exosome research, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Skilled in data analysis using JMP, Excel, or similar software.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities, including preparing clear, accurate reports.
- Ability to remain seated or standing for extended periods.
- Occasional lifting (up to 20 pounds).
- Frequent use of laboratory tools and computers; repetitive hand and finger motions.
- Work is primarily conducted in laboratory and office environments with exposure to moderate noise and occasional hazardous materials.
