      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Lead and manage large, complex projects
      - Oversee project budgets and timelines
      - Collect primary data through interviews, focus groups, and surveys
      - Manage databases and analyze data using statistical software
      - Write reports, articles, and presentations based on research findings

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - PhD in criminal justice, sociology, statistics, economics, or related field
      - 8+ years of work experience in applied social science research
      - US citizenship
      - Public Trust security clearance

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience or knowledge in victim services, juvenile justice, human trafficking, etc.
      - Experience managing complex tasks independently
      - Proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, SAS, Stata)
      - Experience with data collection and qualitative analysis
      - Strong technical writing skills and research publication record
