What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead health care program and policy projects in collaboration with federal and state governments
- Provide consultative policy analysis and technical support focused on health services research
- Oversee the design and execution of quantitative and qualitative research studies
- Manage multiple project teams and ensure adherence to contractual requirements and quality standards
- Author research publications and present findings at professional meetings
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in public policy, public health, health services research, economics, or related fields
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in policy analysis or research, with at least 3 years in project management
- Proven record of peer-reviewed publications and securing project work
- Extensive knowledge of Medicaid programs and experience in policy analysis
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to lead project teams
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with Medicaid focus areas such as health equity and maternal and child health
- Experience working for state or federal government or as a federal/state contractor
- Strong background in estimating project costs and managing budgets
