We are looking for a talented individual…

To join our team a Senior Residential Energy Auditor (REA). As a highly trained and qualified REA, you will perform Energy Audits in accordance with NRCan/ERS standards on behalf of Utility clients. You will have all the necessary knowledge and resources to help homeowners and renters understand the opportunities for energy efficiency upgrades within their house that can be provided through their program involvement and all practical energy conservation steps they can take to reduce energy use and greenhouse gas emissions.

To be considered for this role you must be based in Sault Saint Marie, Timmins, or Bruce County for daily travel within the region.

• Accurately measure and collect data within each house

• Create a verifiable Hot2000 model of each

• Install conservation measures and determine appliance eligibility as per program protocols

• Availability to work some weekday evenings and occasional weekends if required

• Must be able to work in various weather conditions

• Must be able to do active physical work (climb ladders, access crawlspaces, and stand for long periods of time)

• Driving long distances

• Working with a vulnerable population and being able to service clients judgement free

You’re a great fit if you...

• Proficient computer skills using HOT2000, email, and other every-day computer programs

• REA designation highly preferred

• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license & insurance

• Provide a police safety check if requested

• Solid mathematic (geometry) skills are required

• Professionalism and exceptional attention-to-detail

• Located in Sault Ste Marie, Timmins, or Bruce County or within 200 km

• Willing to travel and stay overnight in rural communities

Target Compensation:

$28 - $34.80 / hour CAD
