Job Description

- Produce daily, weekly and monthly commodity position and other trading reports, including monitoring and escalation of position limits
- Validate the position by reconciling the daily activity changes to the expected outcome from trading groups
- Being the first contact for traders for analysis and questions regarding the positions
- Report commodity positions to divisional, regional and corporate management
- Support the company’s efforts in further building and developing the basis for the position reporting regarding technical set-up, processes and procedures
- Provide support in regular tasks measuring Value-at-Risk, P&L estimates, position analysis and Risk Analytics
- Responsibility for operational handling of governance tasks in the area of Financial Trading
- Good knowledge about the commodity trading business, ideally the segments where ADM is active in
- Engaged and team oriented pragmatist with a proactive, goal-oriented work attitude and good communication skills
- Analytical mindset, open for change, and aptitude to search for improvement combined with experience in project management
- Knowledge about OTC and exchange-traded derivatives trading and its back office functions and procedures is an advantage
- Proficient in English. Good knowledge of another EMEA language (preferably German)
- Profound knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Power Query, Power Bi and ideally also programming languages like Python or others.
- Bachelor or Master degree in economics, finance or other relevant field preferably with first relevant professional experience

We, the Commodity Risk Middle Office (CRMO) team in EMEA, are providing high quality risk management services to different ADM Business Units and subsidiaries operating in Europe, Middle East and Africa and partially also globally. The CRMO is consolidating a daily position for market risk exposures and supporting the Trading Businesses operating within the different Business Units across a range of grains, oilseeds, feedstuffs and other agricultural commodities. This position includes transactions in physical flat and basis contracts as well as commodity futures and options. The job posting is focusing on the Global Trade Division within the AG Services & Oilseeds business unit and combines cross-departmental work on trading, logistics as well as finance & reporting topics and also involves active interaction with IT Delivery Services and Senior Management.
