What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with program leadership to develop and implement clinical documentation education programs
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in clinical documentation
- Conduct individual and group educational sessions for CDI staff and providers
- Work on initiatives to enhance provider clinical documentation and ensure accurate patient information
- Mentor and support CDI staff and providers in improving their clinical documentation skills
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BSN from an accredited school or college of nursing
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical documentation improvement work experience
- Advanced clinical expertise and extensive knowledge of complex disease processes
- Current licensure as an RN (Registered Nurse)
- Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist Certification (CCDS) required upon hire
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in medical, surgical, or ICU nursing
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance
