  Senior Salesforce Apex Developer
  Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid)
  Salary: $125,000 – $140,000
  Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
  Position Overview:
  We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Apex Developer with 5+ years of experience to help optimize and expand our Salesforce CRM platform. This role will involve hands-on development, unit testing, application customization, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, sales, and marketing teams to deliver scalable Salesforce solutions.
  Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to define business, functional, and technical requirements.

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy customizations, applications, extensions, and integrations within Salesforce.

  • Manage Apex code changes, bug fixes, and new development efforts.

  • Configure and customize Salesforce, including reports, dashboards, roles, and permissions.

  • Create and execute unit, integration, and UAT test plans.

  • Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

  • Ensure operational support, enhancements, and best practices are applied across the Salesforce platform.

  • Partner with architects on continuous improvement of Salesforce architecture and governance.

  • Build applications using Apex, Visualforce, and the Lightning Component Framework.

  • Develop custom controllers, extensions, and triggers.

  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems via APIs.

  • Contribute to documentation and enforce application standards and development procedures.
  Required Skills & Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce configuration.

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, security model, and development best practices.

  • Proficiency with APIs and integration tools (e.g., Mulesoft, Oracle).

  • Background in Agile development environments.

  • Solid understanding of HTML5, JavaScript, and jQuery.

  • Experience with Salesforce unit testing and deployment pipelines.

  • Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.

  • Willingness to travel as required.
  Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (required); Platform Developer II preferred.

  • Experience with ServiceNow (SNOW) is a plus.

  • Working knowledge of object-oriented design patterns and enterprise integrations.
