What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of customized solutions within the Salesforce platform for the Department of Energy
- Program using Apex, Salesforce Lightning components, JavaScript, and other development languages
- Oversee the end-to-end architecture of the Salesforce Platform, ensuring integration and functionality
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers while conducting code reviews
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including process documentation and Salesforce policies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant hands-on experience
- Valid Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification
- 3+ years of experience supporting the implementation of custom solutions on the Salesforce platform
- Extensive understanding of Salesforce.com best practices, architecture, and security model
- US Citizenship required and ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD)/Copado
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban
- Strong communication skills to present ideas to various audiences
- Experience with development of Web Services (SOAP and REST)
- Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint
