      Maxar is hiring immediately for a Senior SAP Basis Administrator to join our team in Westminster or Longmont, CO. This is a hybrid role where you will work in the office 3 days a week. The role requires the person we hire to be located within one hour from either the Westminster or Longmont office due to the on call responsibilities.

      What you’ll do day-to-day (with your colleagues):

      • Administrate the entire SAP landscape including sandbox, development, quality assurance, and production, ensuring it is reliable, stable, and all integrity is maintained, in both our ECC6 and S4 environments
      • SAP application and database performance tuning
      • Manage and execute SAP transport requests between environments
      • Investigate and implement service marketplace notes, support packs, and enhancement packs
      • Participate in the on-call pool for SAP
      • Provide user support via our ticketing systems, handling approximately 25 tickets/week

      Minimum requirements for this position:

      • Must be a US citizen and be willing and able to obtain Secret security clearance
      • High school diploma
      • Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Basis Administrator, knowledgeable in both ECC6 and S4 including: Client administration and spool administration, Maintaining/reviewing client change logs
      • Minimum of 2 years of experience with SAP on a Linux operating system, including standing SAP systems up from a bare Linux install
      • Experience performing backups, restores, system refreshes, and managing data dictionary
      • Experience with monitoring SAP security notes and applying them as necessary on an ongoing basis
      • Experience in running SAP in a clustered environment
      • Configuration and troubleshooting of at least some of the following: SLT-R, Fiori, OData, Vertex SIC, ALE/IDOC, ADS, and Java Stack
      • Running SAP in a disaster recovery scenario
      • Thorough knowledge of database administration and management with Oracle
      • Strong documentation, analysis, and problem-solving skills

      These skills would be amazing:

      • Firm grasp of Sarbanes Oxley compliance implications to the SAP systems, ability to support SOX 404 assessment process by working closely with IS governance and auditors
      • Experience with TDMS
      • Experience with ETL and Data Warehousing best practices and effects on an SAP environment
      • Administration experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
      • Experience with SAP printer integration and troubleshooting
      • Experience with Fiori SSO integration (Okta preferred)
      • Experience with support pack and EHP upgrades

      Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:

      $102,000.00 - $170,000.00 annually.


      Additionally, this position is incentive eligible with a target based on contribution, company performance, and/or individual results achieved; the specific incentive plan and target amount will be determined based on the role and breadth of contributions.
