Mastering various single-cell technologies, such as single-cell or single-nuclei sequencing, spatial transcriptomics, and Multiomic approaches.
Applying established single-cell technologies to gain insights into disease and drug mechanisms.
Pioneering and implementing new single-cell technologies for drug discovery and development.
Taking a leadership role in projects involving internal experiment design, data analytics, and outsourcing of established workflows, as well as overseeing complex follow-up mechanistic assays (e.g., organoid, CRISPR, proteomics).
Proficiently operating and maintaining lab instruments.
Contributing to and leading high-profile presentations and publications.
A Ph.D degree in biology or a related field. Candidates with a Master degree are also welcome, preferably with relevant working experience.
Previous lab experience in cell and molecular biology, NGS experiments, particularly with single-cell technologies, is a valuable plus.
Basic computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Proficiency in computational skills is an advantage.
A strong desire to learn and excel in a laboratory setting.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Position Overview
The Single Cell Technology Group, within the Single-Cell Biology Cluster of Precision Medicine and Computational Biology at Sanofi, is dedicated to developing and implementing cutting-edge single-cell technologies. Our focus includes single-cell RNA sequencing, single-nuclei RNA sequencing, Multiome ATAC + Gene Expression, and Spatial Transcriptomics. Through these advanced techniques, we aim to facilitate discoveries ranging from target identification and disease indications to mechanism of action. As a group, we play a crucial role in driving forward Sanofi's R&D programs.
