      Job Title: Senior Scientist, Oncology Safety Science

      Introduction to role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Scientist who will contribute to the discovery of novel oncology medicines that include T Cell Engagers and Antibody Drug Conjugates for haem and solid tumor indications.       Accountabilities:
      As a Senior Scientist, you will design and implement experimental strategies to improve our investigative toxicology capabilities and drive our safety science forward to advise the design and selection of drug candidates with the “right safety” profile. You will also maintain technical expertise in preclinical safety approaches applied to Immuno-Oncology therapeutics or Antibody Drug Candidates and awareness of industry trends.

      Requirements:

      - Masters in immunology, cancer biology, cell biology, toxicology, pharmacology, or related field with 5+ years experience preferably in industry or academic setting.
      - A strong scientific track record with experience of independent research in industry, biotech, or academic setting, working with relevant T Cell Engagers or Antibody Drug Conjugates.
      - Experience with in vitro cellular biology/immunology assays applied to physiologically relevant human cellular models, flow cytometry, multiplex cytokine measurements, activation and cytotoxicity assays, micro-physiological systems, 3D organoids, membrane protein arrays, omics technologies, confocal imaging.
      - Experience with the design and execution of in vivo studies to determine the effects of T Cell Engagers or Antibody Drug Conjugates on biological systems with line of sight to human safety may be considered an advantage.
      - The ability to build an understanding of biology around novel drug targets and pathways, develop testable hypotheses, and drive scientific learning.

      Desirable Skills/Experience:

      - PhD in immunology, cancer biology, cell biology, toxicology, pharmacology, or related field with experience preferably in industry or academic setting.
      - A collaborative, team-oriented approach, able to take on problems in a goal-focused fashion with capacity to coordinate tasks across multiple projects.
      - Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and influencing skills across levels/subject areas with a strong desire to drive personal development within an industry setting.
