      Responsibilities

      • Plan and execute experiments related to developing protein engineering platforms for therapeutic antibody generation and optimization.

      • Create research plans, execute experiences, analyze and interpret data and present results to the group and the department.

      • Design, clone and sequence novel protein therapeutics using structural modeling.

      • Transfect and purify proteins/antibodies in bacterial and/or mammalian systems.

      • Optimize protein therapeutic modalities for affinity improvements and robust developability properties through structure-guided modeling and protein engineering wet work.

      • Design and execute experiments to evaluate novel protein therapeutics.

      Requirements

      • PhD in Biotechnology/Biochemistry or related pharmaceutical sciences field, plus 3 years of experience as Researcher/Scientist in biotechnology/pharmaceutical field.

      • Must have experience with: protein expression, characterization and purification; designing experiments, developing assays, optimizing protocols and interpreting experimental results; protein and antibody engineering; antibody selection techniques; and molecular biology techniques.
