- Lead and drive scientific research initiatives, setting research goals, and developing strategies to achieve them.
- May design, plan, and execute experiments using advanced methodologies, instruments, and techniques.
- May analyze experimental data using statistical tools and may interpret results to draw meaningful conclusions and insights.
- May prepare research findings for publication in scientific journals, present at conferences, and communicate findings to peers and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide guidance to junior researchers, and foster a collaborative and innovative research environment.
- May contribute to grant proposals, securing funding for research projects, and managing budgets effectively.
- Master's Degree required, a PhD in immunology, molecular or cell biology, or a related field, coupled with extensive expertise with mouse models is strongly preferred.
- Six or more years of relevant experience in a contract research laboratory, pharmaceutical industry, drug discovery, or a related field.
- Expert knowledge of adaptive and innate immunity, including the roles of various immune cells and cytokines in immune regulation and understanding of biological principles underpinning immunological diseases.
- Extensive experience in conducting scientific research, preferably with a proven track record of publications in reputable journals.
- Proficiency in specific methodologies, tools, and instrumentation pertinent to the research area.
- Strong leadership, project management, and mentorship abilities to guide and inspire a team of researchers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting findings, collaborating with peers, and may write grant proposals.
- May have the ability to innovate, think critically, and propose novel approaches to research problems.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing research needs and technologies.
- Strong networking skills to establish collaborations and partnerships within the scientific community.
We are looking for a dedicated senior scientist with expertise in immunology to join our Research and Development Team. This role focuses on innovation in new model development leveraging cellular humanized platforms.
The Senior Scientist plays a pivotal role in leading and conducting cutting-edge research projects, contributing significantly to the advancement of scientific knowledge within their field. They may be responsible for designing, executing, and managing complex experiments, analyzing data, and interpreting results to draw conclusions. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, mentoring junior researchers, and staying abreast of emerging trends and technologies are integral aspects of this role.
The salary range is $121,924 - $176,790. Salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
