      As a scientist in Analytical Development, you will design and perform experiments to develop, validate, and transfer various analytical methods and state-of-the art analytical technologies that focus on pharmaceutical product development, manufacturing, and controls. You will be involved in all aspects of pharmaceutical development, including engagement with project teams and other stakeholders for various projects in different stages of

      development.

      This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

      • Develop and perform assays that support the development, release and stability testing of pharmaceutical drug substance and drug product for clinical trials.
      • Review of experiments, stability protocols, and other key documents
      • Influence the direction of associated analytical control strategies across the process.
      • Contribute and support departmental cross-training activities on analytical techniques used for analysis of molecules.
      • Contribute to sections for patents or regulatory submissions, as well as scientific papers and internal reports.

      Why You?

      Basic Qualifications:

      We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

      • A Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Pharmaceutics, Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related scientific discipline.
      • 5+ years of laboratory-based experience designing experiments.
      • 5+ years’ experience using analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, or dissolution.
      • Experience with method development & validation, pharmacopeia compliance, analytical life cycle management.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

      • PhD in Analytical Chemistry or related scientific discipline
      • Experience with the pharmaceutical product lifecycle.
      • Experience with analytical support of challenging long-acting injectable, parenteral, and sterile formulations.
      • Working knowledge and experience in small molecule, therapeutic oligonucleotide and mAb-related analytical techniques such as HPLC, UPLC, CE, GC, dissolution, UV/Vis Spectrophotometry, KF, MS, NMR, IR, USP compendial methods and laboratory procedures.
      • Strong technical writing skills for documentation.
      • Experience in regulatory documentation authoring (IND, NDA, MAA, etc.)
      • Ability to collaborate and communicate well with others in and across groups in matrix
      • Working knowledge and experience quality control testing and GMPs
      • Knowledge of ICH guidelines
      • Thorough operational knowledge of laboratory equipment and laboratory systems (e.g. Waters Empower CDS and Electronic Notebook system)
      • Data Skills: SQL, PowerBI, Spotfire
