• you have worked in similar test engineer roles for at least 8+ years within the finance / banking sector
• experience of working in Agile teams
• strong background in testing methodologies
• pro-active approach to finding the gaps in the delivery and tests needed to make the delivery robust
• you are able to build, perform and maintain the automated regression and smoke tests
• experience with GitLab and CICD to make the test runs for automatic scheduling
• experience in working with global teams and supporting the testing across multiple platforms
• end-to-end testing: ability to design the tests with checks for various stages of data delivery
• ability to perform Demos and know the Signoff procedures from external applications and the business stakeholders
Essential Skills/Experience:
• knowledge of Defect Analysis, Defect Lifecycle, Regression and Smoke testing
• knowledge of various Test Analysis and design skills to analyse and perform Functional and Non-Functional tests
• Test Analysis, Test Planning, ability to understand the requirements, Gap Analysis and Requirement mapping
• experience with JAVA, Selenium, Rest API, SOAP UI, JMETER for test automation and CICD pipelines in GitLab
• good understanding of various financial instruments
• strong with writing SQL queries for test data analysis
• able to work with Jira / Xray, GitLab
• working knowledge of cloud environmentsAbout the company
