What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Suggest and implement SEO best practices for client sites across various industries, including eCommerce, tech, and finance
- Stay updated on SEO industry changes and communicate technical improvements to non-technical stakeholders
- Perform monthly keyword research and competitor analysis to generate topic ideas for client sites
- Write effective web copy for marketing websites in diverse verticals
- Conduct weekly analyses using Google Search Console and other tools to track and monitor changes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2-4 years of experience in an SEO role
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Moz, Ahrefs, SEMRush, Screaming Frog, and Google Analytics
- Strong technical background with analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to conduct full SEO site audits and present impactful recommendations
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and familiarity with web design principles
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience using project management tools like Basecamp and Smartsheet
- Familiarity with eCommerce websites and CMS platforms such as WordPress and Shopify
- 2-3 years of experience working in an agency environment
