Implement features in ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, SPM, AppEngine, Custom Applications, and Service Portal.
Work on platform capabilities like Predictive Intelligence, Flow Designer, Virtual Agent.
Own requirements, stories, improvements, and strategic development.
Define and document user interfaces, support systems, and data requirements.
Monitor system performance and take proactive measures to optimize performance.
Develop and maintain ServiceNow workflows, business rules, UI policies, reports and dashboards
Collaborate with other developers to ensure that code is developed and maintained according to Best Practices.
Stay up to date with the latest developments in ServiceNow, ITIL, ITSM, ITOM, SPM, and CMDB, and share knowledge with the team.
Assist in crafting training materials and documentation for ServiceNow users including release notes.
Handle existing, as well as build and maintain platform integrations.

5- 7 years of dynamic ServiceNow development & administration experience required.
Well-versed with JavaScript, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, Policies, and Scheduled Jobs - all scripted aspects of the ServiceNow system.
Exposure to the latest ServiceNow platform capabilities and tools like Mobile Apps, Walkup experience, Agent workspace, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Integration Hub.
Excellent hands-on knowledge and experience of HTML/CSS/Angular/Bootstrap /Jelly Script/ServiceNow APIs
Demonstrable understanding in ITSM (Incident, Change, Knowledge, Problem, CMDB, Service Catalog, Service Portal), ITAM, and ITBM (Demand, SDLC, Agile)
Experience in a complex application environment with integrations and customizations to support multiple business processes.
Good attention to detail, goal-oriented & should know how to adapt to changing requirements.
Leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to participate in any multi-functional team and establish links with multiple business

The opportunity
The Senior ServiceNow Developer will handle the implementation of features in ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, SPM, AppEngine, Custom Applications, and Service Portal.
In addition, the Senior ServiceNow Developer plays a role in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions to enhance our organization's operational efficiency and user experience.
This technical role also leads the translation of business requirements into technical solutions, development initiatives, and collaborates with multi-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that demonstrate the full capabilities of the ServiceNow platform.

The annual base salary for this role is listed below.

Salary range is expected to be between
$82,500.00 CAD - $148,500.00 CADIf you are applying for this role outside of the primary location, please contact recruitment@manulife.com for the salary range for your location. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
