Role Name:Senior SharePoint Developer

Location of Requirement: Hyderabad

Desired Experience Range: 10 years to 18 Years

Role Profile

• In this role, you will be joining our Connect Intranet Team, part of Employee Experience within Corporate Systems, as a Senior SharePoint Developer.

• What you will be working on: Connect – Connect is a global internal intranet on our Microsoft SaaS platform that is part of our M365 eco-system and delivers news, information and support to all internal users within London Stock Exchange Group

Tech Profile/Essential Skills

• 10+ years’ experience as SharePoint Developer.

• Detailed understanding of SharePoint/M365 architecture.

• 5+ years’ experience of SPFx, Microsoft Graph, SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, PowerShell, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, .Net framework, Viva tools, Power Platform, Google Analytics.

• 2+ years’ experience of Atlassian Jira.

• Ability to create custom components and understand the capabilities of the out of the box SharePoint functionality.

• Experience in agile software delivery methodologies, especially Scrum.

• High fluency in English with strong communication skills in verbal and written English.

• Extensive experience with SharePoint functionality - architecture, sites, apps and webparts, workflows, lists and integrations.

• Familiarity with software delivery lifecycle processes and best practices

• Experience of working in software delivery methodologies such as Agile/Scrum, DevOps.

Education and Professional Skills

• Professional qualifications or equivalent experience.

• Self-starter with excellent initiative and ability to encourage others with a solid focus on collaboration and partnership.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Work effectively in an inclusive and open culture, working with global teams.

• Ability to establish successful working relationships with a diverse set of personalities and functions in a dynamic global environment.

• Peer review junior colleagues code for code quality and code security.

• Coach junior team members on SharePoint development best practices.

• Gain an understanding of LSEG architectural governance and attendance of related DIF (design integrity) forums.

• Ability to create architectural solutions for new requirements (SAD documents).

• Participation in UX reviews and backlog refinement sessions.

• Drive continuous improvement and suggest best practice solutions.

• Protect the integrity of the platform.

• Actively participate in project planning sessions with team members to analyse requirements and estimates of work.

• Align to business and technical priorities and understand customer requirements.

• Present and communicate effectively to all levels of the organisation including technical and non-technical audiences, leadership, and management.

• Create release documentation on Confluence.

• Ensure any changes are knowledge transferred to the support team before go-live.
