What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of software assets, including procurement and decommissioning
- Ensure compliance with global software licensing agreements and support audits
- Manage and optimize ServiceNow’s Software Asset Management (SAM) module
- Identify opportunities for global software spend reduction through optimization and vendor negotiations
- Analyze software usage data to provide actionable insights and reporting
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in software asset management or related roles in a global organization
- Proven track record in managing software compliance and cost optimization
- Proficiency in ServiceNow’s SAM module and global software asset management processes
- Strong understanding of software licensing terms and regional requirements
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- IAITAM CSAM or CITAM certification
- Experience with other IT asset management tools beyond ServiceNow
- Certification in ServiceNow Software Asset Management or ITIL
- Knowledge of emerging trends in software asset management and cloud-based licensing models
- Experience in large, global organizations with complex software portfolios
